HUMAN GUINEA PIGS

Now I’ve heard everything. One of Australia’s worst paedophiles, Brian Keith Jones, the man known as ‘Mr. Baldy’, wants to be allowed out into the community on unsupervised visits. Even though he is regarded as a serious risk to reoffend against more children. And even though he threatens he won’t reform unless he gets more freedom. This is the man who abducted his boy victims, shaved their heads, painted them with lipstick and dressed them up as girls.

This is the man who was a member of a calculating paedophile ring who teamed up while in prison.They fantasized about building a prison farm where they would molest the attractive children and use the others as slaves.

Within weeks of his release from Sale prison in the late Eighties, Mr. Baldy began reoffending with help from his accomplices.  The wife of one member of  the child molesting group had taken some victims-to-be to visit him in jail in the 1980s.

The names of two of those gang members are still suppressed.

Mr Baldy is now under an Extended Supervision Order and his name and photo were also suppressed until the Herald Sun went to court this week.

He wants more freedom and a psychiatrist supports him. She says he should be out there in the community to test his ‘relapse-prevention techniques’. Let him loose in shopping centres or near schools, on his own, unsupervised, and see if he’ll behave himself or grab another child.

This is madness. Do you remember giving anybody the right to use your unsuspecting children as human guinea pigs?

If he behaves himself do you give him a gold star but if he molests a child say ‘sorry kid, it was just an experiment’.

Luckily his Extended Supervision Order has been reinstated for another three years and the ban on identifying him has been lifted.

At least you can now know about Mr. Baldy.  But there are others out there still being protected by the law. You are not allowed to know who they are, where they are or what they look like. And that is manifestly wrong.
